Magickal Uses: Licorice root was buried in tombs and caskets to help the soul pass easily into the Summerland. Chewing on a piece of the root will make you passionate. It is added to love sachets, and an ingredient in spells to ensure fidelity. Licorice roots make handy wands.
 
To bring passion to a sex union, chew on a piece of the root. It is also said to help to stop smoking. Carry to attract love or use in sachets for love and lust. Use in spells to ensure faithfulness.
 
It’s use in sex & love magick is rooted in those same estrogenic properties. The root is often chewed for sexual potency. It is “sprinkled” in the footprints of a lover to keep them from wandering.
